LOCATION: NYSEG Stadium
TIME: 6:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Challenge yourself, get a registration discount, and double your race experience by running both the Half-Marathon and 5k! It's 16.2 miles of fun!
The Half Marathon starts at 7:30 AM. The 5k starts at 10:00 AM.
Double Bridge participants must be signed up in advance under the "Double Bridge" option. We can not process race-day upgrades. Besides, you will want to be sure you're signed up ahead of time to guarantee the cool swag!
What swag? We're glad you asked! We'll be providing custom bridge run socks to those who finish along with a 5k shirt, a half marathon shirt, a reusable race bag and a half-marathon finisher's medal!
You must be finished with your half-marathon in time for the 5k start in order to participate in the Double Bridge. This means you need to be able to beat an 11:30 pace for your half marathon. You are still welcome to sign up if you aren't sure if you can finish in time, but we will not be able to issue refunds or hold the course open for extra time if you miss your time cut-off.
Enjoy it all right at the finish line starting at 9:30 a.m!
The Greater Binghamton Bridge Run has a great course for personal records! Though it has a couple of gentle hills, the portion of the course traveling along Main St is slightly downhill, which helps you keep your speed up and leads to a faster finish. After the final turn through to the finish line, the course is a stronger downhill, allowing you to get the most of your final kick to the finish!
The half marathon course crosses four bridges, travels under one bridge and passes along both the Chenango and Susquehanna Rivers. The 5k course crosses two bridges going over the Chenango River.
This event could not happen without our outstanding and dedicated volunteers.
There are many opportunities to Volunteer as an Individual or as part of a School or Community Organization. We love to have groups that would like to do waterstops together! Volunteering is fun and inspiring - be an important part of the race and watch something amazing happen!2017 Individual Volunteer Form 2017 Group Volunteer Form
